Have pup, will travel! If you want to take your dog everywhere you go, this 10 week class is for you! The first half of the class aims to transition your pup from obedience in mildly distracting environments to busy, highly populated places. We cover advanced focus, stay, come when called, and leave it, plus new skills such as drop it, wait, touch, tricks, and more. We also use off-site, public training to introduce social behaviors related to becoming an AKC Canine Good Citizen.
The second half of the class focuses on using all of the obedience and behavioral skills your pup has learned and applying them in a variety of public situations. We will be working on loose leash walking with distractions, meet and greets with people and other dogs, settles in public places, and socially acceptable manners. In addition, we will strengthen your pup's core obedience skills (sit, down, focus, stay, leave it, etc.) with varying levels of distractions.
