NOTE: These are all "out and about" and subject to weather conditions. Any classes that need to be rescheduled will be tacked on to the end of the class and graduation will be pushed.
Have pup, will travel! If you want to take your dog everywhere you go, this is the class for you. Intermediate Obedience class aims to transition your pup from obedience in mildly distracting environments to busy, highly populated places. We cover advanced focus, stay, come when called, and leave it, plus new skills such as drop it, wait, touch, tricks, and more. We also use off-site, public training to introduce social behaviors related to becoming an AKC Canine Good Citizen. This class is appropriate for pups of all ages that have a strong base in sit, down, stay and basic leash manners while in a public environment.Have pup, will travel! If you have young children, we ask that two adults attend class when possible.
Qualifications: Completion of Basic Level II OR Pup completes Walking Workshop Levels I and II plus a 45-minute private evaluation/training session (contact 2SD to schedule).
