We are so excited to announce our brand NEW OLDER Puppy Socialization Class!
Have a fuzzy bundle of fur and energy on your hands, aged 5-12 months? If so, our Older Puppy Socialization Class is for you! This 4-week class caters specifically to older puppies who are ready to begin some real obedience training, but still need off-leash socialization opportunities! It focuses on beginning obedience, beginning loose leash walking, proper puppy body language, learning how to safely socialize your pup, managing common puppy behaviors, calming and focus techniques, and a few basic obedience skills.
This class is designed to work with puppies' (and humans) short attention spans and allows for play breaks and down time. Each hour-long class includes a discussion on topics such as nipping/biting, potty training, crate training, controlled play, and more.
This is a great class for first-time puppy owners or for continuation from our first New Puppy Socialization class. It is also a great refresher for experienced owners.
If you are interested in training two or more dogs, whether they are litter mates or just house mates, please sign them up individually. We recommend attending individually rather than in the same class to build confidence independently and to learn to rely on you instead of their pack mate/s.
This class will be held at our new facility in Stony Point Fashion Park.
