This on-the-go workshop will emphasize teaching your pup to stay calm around other dogs, remain focused on you while in distracting environments, and understanding ‘pack walk’ behavior.

Join us for a romantic canal stroll with your 4 legged Sweetheart as we explore Brown's island and back through downtown Richmond. Whether you enjoy walks on the river or margaritas on the boat (Casa del "Barko"), there is something for everyone!

We will introduce you and your pup to "Structured Socialization" vs "Recreational Socialization" as we walk through local parks and dog-friendly city areas. You will be able to enjoy the wonders of a great walk with your pup, and learn to be an advocate for your dog as you introduce him to the world at large.

This is a Shockoe Bottom Canal Walk including Brown's Island and ending at Casa del "Barko". Precise meeting location will be sent the day of the pack walk.

*Please note that we strongly encourage (but do not require) attendance at our Walking Workshop Levels I and II prior to participating in a Pack Walk. This event is weather dependent.
